The talk will be devoted to ETAP-3, a multipurpose linguistic processor developed at the Institute for Information Transmission Problems, Russian Academy of Sciences. Three main options of ETAP-3 will be considered in detail: 1) machine translation between Russian and English, 2) Syntagrus, a deeply annotated corpus of Russian texts, and 3) Universal Networking Language (UNL) module for natural language enconversion (translation from NL to UNL) and deconversion (translation from UNL to NL), as well as possible uses of this module. Future prospects of ETAP-3 will be discussed.
